Why can't we rebound?!!!?? My goodness this team sucks at rebounding! They are so inconsistent! Its so hard to have confidence in this team! I don't know what team would show up. We play good one game and then we play bad the next. Argh! So frustrating!
We need consistent guard play. AP and Delfino are just way too inconsistent! Man if we had a Paul Pierce or Dwayne Wade we would be instant contenders. Man i wished we drafted Roy than Bargnani, I think we would have been legitimate contenders in the East already. Man the inconsistency is just killing me!
Please Colangelo please get us a rebounder please!! I hope we win tomorrows game so that I can forget this one. Please God please!

The Bucks feel the wrath of BOSH
Another great performance by Chris Bosh!! Bosh was unstoppable! His back to the basket offense is getting better with each game. If he can hit that fadeaway jumper on a consistent basis and that jump hook- Bosh will soon have a variety of weapons to attack with making him almost impossible to stop. Jose Calderon had another impressive performance- he is getting better with each game.
Now the question was would Andrea Bargnani have 2 great games in a row? And the answer is resounding..."ehhh..could have been better". He wasn't bad or good...he was just average. He missed some wide open looks but he also hit some too. He got some rebounds and he looked much more comfortable in the center spot then he was in previous weeks. I think this is a great sign that he is coming out of his slump. He may not be out yet but he will be. And when he does the Raptors can become a really dangerous team!!
Our rebounding woes continue..we really need to get a rebounder that can come off the bench and get some boards. With TJ out, the back up point guard position needs an upgrade. Hopefully they can get Damon Stoudamire- who has shown interest in returning. But Boston is also interested and I think he will most likely go there. So we need a third string point guard- I say we get a young guy or get an undrafted rookie to develop. But if we can get Stoudamire that would be awesome! Mighty Mouse returns! But its a long shot based on the fact that when TJ returns he would be come the 3rd point guard. So I say Boston has the best shot.
Anyways there are holes to fill and there are over 2 weeks till the trade deadline! Should be a good one! Next up the Wizards! See you then! 24-19!!!

Andrea back? Please God let it be so!
Wow! What a thrilling game! The Raptors were just unreal from beyond the arc. They hit 15 three pointers! And the best thing of all is Andrea broke out with a huge game! 20 points 7 Assists and 7 rebounds- a near triple double! This game a showed a glimpse of what could be in the very near future. Bosh and Andrea played a great game. Now all we need is consistency. If we can become consistent and if Andrea can continue to play like he played tonight we could become a very dangerous team. Jose played unbelievable tonight- I think he should go to the all-star game along with Bosh.
I just hope we can bring it in Milwaukee! This team has proven that it can beat any team in the NBA. But it also has proven that we can lose to any team. We just need consistency and we should be fine. But that's a big if right now. We are on the verge of becoming an elite team. But right now we are not quite there yet.
Even though we shot the lights out, we had way too many turnovers! I think we had 18. We need to limit those especially if they lead to baskets for the other team. We need to take care of the ball and be smart. Our rebounding is just atrocious! We definitely need a banger; a rebounder that can get us second chance points; someone that can just get us the damn ball. It's so frustrating seeing our team struggle with rebounds. We just gave up way too many rebounds and second chance points. We need to get this rebounder via trade- since we desperately need it right now!
Heading into the trade deadline, I think we need a third string point guard, a rebounder, and someone that can drive to the basket on a consistent basis. On the order of importance I think we need:
1. Rebounder 2. Third string point guard 3. Shooting guard.
I think we are going to definitely trade Martin, Dixon, Kapono, and Graham to fill our needs. I'm just not sure if they have enough value to get us something we need. I think Kapono is our best bet. Maybe trade him to Miami for Haslem?
Well off to Milwaukee- see you then! We are now 23-19!

What a frustrating loss!
Tonights game was a frustrating and heartbreaking mess! That third quarter was simply horrendous! We got out scored 35-16! That dug us a great big hole! A hole that we couldn't overcome. Truth be told: we can't lose these games! These are games that we should win! We were coasting in the third quarter! We had so many turnovers that lead to fast break points. The Sixers went on a huge run and we were not able to recover, though we did have a huge run in the fourth but it was not enough.
Bosh needs help! He can't do everything by himself! We need a secondary scorer that can score on a consistent basis. We don't have anyone that can score in the clutch! Anthony Parker missed a wide open 3 that could have cut the deficit to one! We need a wing player that can score in the clutch, someone that can score when we desperately need a basket. Right now we don't have one- the only one that has proven to be clutch is TJ Ford, but hes out! We desperately need one! Bosh cannot do it alone! We also need a center! Our center is just not working out!
Bargnani just sucks right now! What's worse is that he shows no effort or any type of passion. He's so passive! At least try Bargnani! So far he is holding us down! A liability on offense and defense! Should we trade him? I think so- I just don't think hes cut out for center. Kris Humphries again was trigger happy! Stay within yourself for goodness sakes!! Your not Michael Jordan!! Juan Dixon had a better game but way too many turnovers. At least, Moon is beginning to drive to the basket more! Please continue this! Please oh please!
This game we need to forget! Way too many turnovers especially by Parker- yikes! That was really bad! What a bad game! The comeback was just a tease to an overall bad game! Next up we have the Celtics. I'm scared! But I'm calling a win! We will take this one! Till next time....

Bosh dominates!!!
Another great game for the Raps! A 89-78 win! Bosh, Calderon, AP, and Moon had great games! Bosh again was efficient! Finishing with 35 points! Most of his points came from driving to the hoop and getting to the free throw line! He's been playing great this whole month excluding that horrible Detroit game!
Moon with another great defensive effort! He had 3 game changing blocks and 5 steals! His offense was a little better this time but it still needs work. He needs to get to the basket! But he had one great drive, where he faked the lay up and dished it to Bosh. If Moon gets better at doing this then he will have a better rounded overall game. But his defense is just awesome!
AP is starting to come along and slowly becoming the secondary scoring we desperately need. Well heres hoping! He hit 3 game changing 3 pointers. Another awesome game by Calderon.
Andrea Bargnani continues to disappoint! I'm not sure if we really need him on this team. Right now he is becoming a liability both on offense and defense. Maybe we can swing deal and get a legit center- someone that will rebound and block shots! Hmm heres a thought, just a thought though- how about trading him to Minnesota for Theo Ratliff! He can play center and block shots but the great thing is- he's an unrestricted free agent next year! So we can get significant cap space! I dunno just a thought!
Anyways, another game tomorrow! See you then! Raps 22-18!

Raptors destroy the Kings!
What a game last night!! The Raptors played great ball excluding the first quarter where we had too many turnovers but the other three quarters we played extremely well! The Raptors finally played their game! They had great ball movement which produced open looks, reminiscent of last years Raptors that gave them much success. It was a game that we finally destroyed a team! There was no lapses at the end of the game or a huge run by the other team. We played great defense and our offense was just as good.
Chris Bosh had an unbelievable game! He was so efficient. Chris shot 11 for 12 field goals missing only one shot! He also went to the line 10 times missing only once! When Bosh drives to the basket only good things happen. We just hope that Bosh continues to do that and not settle for just jump shots. Jose Calderon also played great with 14 dimes. The bench also produced with Delfino and Kapono chipping in significantly. We just hope this becomes a consistent contribution. We need our wing players to score on a consistent basis to help Chris Bosh out. Consistency has been the issue this year and we pray to God that this continues.
Jose has been playing unbelievable in the absence of TJ Ford. He may even be selected to be an all-star reserve! However, with TJ out we need a capable back up for Calderon. Jose has been logging a lot of minutes without getting too much rest. This is caused by the incompetency of Juan Dixon and Darrick Marting to run the point. I truly believe its time for Martin to retire. Though, he is a good dressing room presence and good teacher- he is a liability on the court. He continues to shoot at a rapid pace- missing most of his shots mind you. It is very frustrating watching him. As for Juan, I don't think point guard is a good fit for him and he is playing out of position. So we need to get a third point guard. There are many possibilities out there like Damon Stoudamire, Luke Ridnaur, Dan Dickau- but the question is will they like being the third point guard when TJ returns? So I do expect that Brian Colangelo will trade or sign a third point guard but I'm sure that it won't be a star point guard let alone a backup point guard that we've heard of- I think it will be someone from the D-League or perhaps and unsigned rookie.
Kris Humphries gives us great energy and is great rebounder. He is a great asset to the team when he plays within himself. It gets frustrating seeing him jack up every shot when he gets the chance. And when he can't catch those passes from Jose! But if he plays within himself, blocking and rebounding- then that is when Kris is at his best. Also he is only 21, so he a lot of time to learn.
Jamario Moon has been the feel good story of the year for the Toronto Raptors. A undrafted rookie with crazy jumping ability. What a great find! The guy soars when he gets rebounds and he is a blocking machine! He just needs to drive to the basket more- he takes too many shots. He has proven that he can drive and jump over people. He just needs to do it more. When his offensive awareness gets better- he can become a really good player.
Andrea Bargnani has been struggling this whole season. It's been frustrating watching him this year. He continues to rush shots, take stupid fouls, and unable to bang away and get rebounds! The most frustrating part is seeing Brandon Roy tearing up the league. He could have been ours! A wing player that we sorely need. But I'm willing to be patient with Andrea! He has shown glimpses of what he can be. He just needs to do it and regain that magic all over again. There were boos in the building for Andrea last night. Hopefully he can prove us wrong that he indeed is worthy to be the number one pick.
I truly believe that the Raptors sorely miss TJ Ford and Jorge Garbajosa. Jorge had such great basketball iq. I miss his swift passes when we create ball movement. I believe that the reason we don't see that much ball movement this year is because we are missing Garbajosa. He was great at moving the ball! This year, the ball movement has been lacking because the passes haven't been as swift and fast as last year. They have been so slow- so slow that defense catches up with it.
Overall the Raptors are 3 games above 500- they could be better. They need to develop consistency and a killer instinct before we become a elite team. We also need a banger in the post to get rebounds- Andrea has not shown yet that he is capable of doing this. Chris can't be the only one getting rebounds. Our wing players need to develop consistency for us to be successful. Well I'll be back for the next game on Friday! See you then!
